2 ½ cups plain flour
3 tsp baking powder
½ tsp bi-carb soda
½ cup bran cereal
1 cup raisins - chopped
⅓ cup firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup walnuts - chopped
1 cup milk
⅓ cup honey
2 tbsp melted butter
Mix together flour, baking powder, soda, bran, raisins, sugar and nuts.
Combine milk, eggs, honey and butter.
Stir into dry ingredients and beat until smooth.
Pour batter into greased 22 x 12cm loaf pan.
Bake in moderate oven approx 1 hour or until done when tested.
Serve sliced and buttered.
